Walking alone

Shed not a tear when you are left behind alone.

Walk with a smile even if you have to walk alone.

The sands where you walk are indeed very soft.

Impressions are erased very soon. People don’t remember so oft.

Mistakes are underlined. Good deeds are silently nodded by.

Things just happen without you ever knowing why.

Jokes are laughed upon. Facts are often ignored.

When truth starts to unfold, they at times get bored.

But walk for the sake of your heart,

And not for others part.

The journey is for you to enjoy,

And not for them to make silly jokes, laugh and enjoy.

Trails might be erased yet the scents of your sweat shall be left behind,

To tell tales of your journey and agonies of your mind.

So, shed not a tear when you are left behind alone.

Walk with a smile even if you have to walk alone.

In search of inspiration

I looked for it every moment -every moment of hope and despair.
Sometimes, I saw a glimpse of it and sometimes, I found it no where.
At junctures, when lives took a turn and emotions tumbled out of heart.
I stood still and observed-
Destinies changing, few truths about life unfolding silently.
Subtle undercurrents of inspiration slowly coming to life
They call it my malady, my hallucination.
They see the world dead. They don’t have an eye for fascination.
Fascination with which a child watches a rainbow amidst the falling raindrops.

Life is a song hummed in portions silently yet waiting to be sung

I look for the right notes. I don’t know where I shall find. But when I shall,  it will be just perfectly sung.
